🍽️ What are they?
Flat fleky pasta consists of larger, flat pieces of pasta traditionally used, for example, in šunkofleky (baked with ham and cheese), in soups, or as a versatile side dish. They are dried, so they keep for a long time without refrigeration and are ideal for quick home cooking.

🍳 Preparation

Put approximately 1 l of salted water into a large saucepan for every 100 g of pasta.

Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent it from sticking.

Taste – they should be soft but still slightly firm to the bite (al dente).

Drain and use as per the recipe.

✔️ Baked dishes: with meat, vegetables and cream or tomato sauce.
✔️ Side dish: sprinkled with cheese and herbs, or served with sauces and ragù.

💡 Tip: Fleky go brilliantly with onion and bacon – briefly fry the onion and bacon, add the cooked fleky and season with pepper and Parmesan. 🍽️
